Refer to the inlet and outlet labels on the membrane module diagram for installation. Do not reverse the inlet and outlet connections under any circumstances.
Generally, a small amount of preservation solution is present inside the membrane module. Before installation, drain the preservation solution first. After installation, system commissioning should generally be completed within 3 days to avoid prolonged exposure of the module to external air during standby.
Before introducing water into the Ultrafiltration Membrane(UF)Modules, be sure to flush the piping and other components to prevent large particles and contaminants from entering the module. Then, flush the module for 20–30 minutes, ensuring no pressure buildup in the piping during the flushing process.
After flushing, fill the piping and module with water to thoroughly wet the Ultrafiltration Membrane(UF)Modules, and soak for 4–6 hours. Once the module is fully soaked, initiate automatic operation. Initially, set the permeate flow rate to half of the normal rate, and operate under low pressure and low flow for 12 hours. Afterward, adjust to the normal operating pressure and flow rate.
During installation, handle the membrane module with care. Do not use the module as a support, avoid impacts from heavy or hard objects, and prevent knocking or severe vibration. Additionally, do not expose the module to direct sunlight during operation.
